Senior Sous Chef required for an Independent Hotel & Wedding venue set in over 100 acres of beautiful gardens, this lovingly restored 18^th Century mansion provides exclusive use for weddings, events, parties and conferences. The property hosts 30 bedrooms, with ballroom, ceremony rooms, bar & lounge areas, plus lots of space for any marquee or outside activities.

As Senior Sous Chef you will work closely with the Head Chef and the management team to ensure the Hotel & Restaurant is at the highest of standards – over the years, they have obtained many various awards but always looking to improve. Great opportunity to place your own emphasis in the kitchen, work with a very experienced Head Chef within a happy working environment and a real chance work with fresh, home grown local produce & ingredients.

JOB DESCRIPTION

As Senior Sous Chef required to work in this excellent independent Country Hotel producing the finest dishes and menus, using the very best quality local ingredients. As Sous you will be working with a very talented and experienced Head Chef and to deputise and help cover in his absence. As Sous Chef you will work in various sections of the kitchen, producing food of the highest standard using various cooking styles and techniques. Motivation and inspiration are essential to communicate the way forward and continue in the business success.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

Experience within Hotel, wedding & event establishment is preferred. Applications from strong Sous Chefs will be considered for this role.
