Café Manager –  Crewe
£15.50 – £17.50 per hour (DOE) | Full-time, 37 hours per week | 8–12 weeks contract

We are seeking a Temporary Café Supervisor / Manager to join a busy café in Crewe. This hands-on role is perfect for someone with hospitality management experience who can confidently lead a team, deliver excellent customer service, and ensure smooth day-to-day operations. You will be involved in everything from barista coffee service and café-style food preparation to team supervision and till management. This is a fantastic short-term opportunity to step into a leadership role in a welcoming and fast-paced café environment.

About the Role: As Café Manager –  Crewe

• Temporary position for 8–12 weeks (immediate start available).
• 37 hours per week with a share of weekends.
• Shift patterns between 8:00am – 5:30pm.
• Competitive pay of £15.50 – £17.50 per hour, depending on experience (higher range for candidates confident in fully managing the site).

Responsibilities for a Cafe Manager:

• Leading and supervising the team during service.
• Preparing and serving barista-style coffee.
• Overseeing café-style food preparation and service.
• Cash handling and till operation.
• Ensuring excellent customer service and smooth day-to-day running of the café.

What We’re Looking For:

• Previous experience as a Café Manager, Supervisor, or Team Leader.
• Hands-on and confident with both front-of-house service and back-of-house prep.
• Strong organisational and leadership skills.
• A positive attitude and ability to thrive in a busy café environment.
• Flexibility to work across weekdays and weekends.
